Lookup Pass help
Answers to the things people actually write in about. If none of these cover it, email us and a person will read it.

What does protecting a number do?
We re-check the number every month and email you if its spam labeling, caller ID or carrier changes. Numbers get labeled "Spam Likely" without warning, and most people find out when customers stop answering. This tells you instead.
Why does the app ask which number is this phone?
iPhone and Android never tell an app what your own number is, so we can't detect it. You tell us once and we remember. If this phone has two lines, you can mark both.
How many numbers can I protect?
One on an individual pass. More on Family. Marking which number belongs to this phone is free and unlimited — it's only protecting a number that uses a slot.
Call screening
How does blocking work?
We send your phone a list of numbers with poor reputations, and your phone compares incoming calls against it on the device. We never see who is calling you — on iPhone that's genuinely not possible, because Apple's call blocking is designed so an app gets no visibility into your calls.
Identifying unknown callers (Android only)
Android lets an app see the number of an incoming call; iPhone does not. So the Android app offers an optional setting, "Identify unknown callers", which looks up the name behind an unknown number while your phone rings. It's off unless you turn it on, and it uses a separate monthly allowance rather than your lookups. It is the one case where your phone sends us a number that called you — everything else stays on your device. Turn it off any time in My Pass.
Turning it on
On iPhone: Settings, then Apps, then Phone, then Call Blocking & Identification, and switch on Lookup Pass. On Android the app will prompt you once for the caller-ID and spam role.
Looking up and reporting
I reported a number and it still shows as clean
Your report was recorded. A number is only labeled for everyone once several different people report it — one report should never be able to mark someone a scammer. Your own reports show as "you reported this" in History.
What does "clean" mean?
Nothing has been reported against it. That is not the same as safe. Treat it as the absence of a warning, not a recommendation.
Looking up from your call history
Tap the number, choose Share, then Lookup Pass. You can also ask Siri, or add Lookup Pass to your Action Button, and skip the share sheet entirely.
Billing and your account
Managing or cancelling a subscription
If you subscribed inside the iPhone app, manage it in Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions — Apple handles billing and cancellation. In the Android app it's Google Play, then Payments and subscriptions. If you subscribed on the website, use Billing in your account.
Deleting your account
In the app, open My Pass and choose Delete Account. That removes your profile, lookup history, protected numbers and personal data, and it cannot be undone. If Apple or Google bills your subscription, deleting the account does not stop the charge — cancel it in the store as well, using the steps above.
What happens to numbers I look up?
They're stored against your account so History works, and they're covered by our privacy policy. We never read your contacts, your call history or your messages.
Still stuck
Email support@verirouteintel.com and tell us what you were doing and what happened. If it's about a specific number, include it.
